A little diddy about Karma and Griffey...it's probably way too much detail but the more the merrier, right? :)
They must be on a leash unless in a securely fenced area. They will run away if not on a leash.
Karma: has the pink nose and blue collar.
MORNING: Karma will likely go potty and #2 without any hassle. She'll expect a greenie after doing so. It's like crack to her haha =D It's a good idea to wait until Griffey does his duties too before opening the greenies otherwise he'll get too distracted.
COMMANDS: Karma knows "sit" "sit pretty" "lay" "shake" "come" "stay" and "down".
FOOD/WATER: You can just keep their food and water bowls full at all times, they aren't on any type of eating schedule. No allergies either, and are first to the scene if we drop any human food while cooking dinner.
HABITS/LIFESTYLE: They are used to being on the furniture and roaming freely when we're not home. When we are home, they will try to snuggle pretty much any chance they get. They can go up to 8 hours w/o a potty break, but on the weekends we tend to let them in and out very frequently (every few hours). They do like to go on walks but it's more like them taking you for a walk because they don't know "heel". They're generally good with other dogs but sometimes if they have a bad first impression there's no going back...they will just bark their heads off. It's better to try and have Karma greet other dogs and people first. Griffey may bark and growl at other dogs, but if he can see that Karma isn't scared of them, and gets the opportunity to get some good sniffs in, he will be friends with them in 1-2 minutes. However, if a new dog does not respond well to the initial barking/growling then best to just move on.
SLEEPING: They can sleep in a crate together, they just need blankets to burrow under.
